Il rivenditore austriaco Gameware ha annunciato di non vendere più la console Xbox One tramite un tweet di risposta a un fansite Xbox.
It was a decision based on the Gamepass announcement. And the fact that Sea of Thieves preorders are way behind.
So, the decision was based on selling hardware without any markup and lacking first-party-preorders possibly because of gamepass.

Nel tweet Gamware afferma:
“È stata una decisione basata sull’annuncio di Game Pass. E sul fatto che i pre-order di Sea of Thieves sono molto indietro. Quindi, la decisione è stata basata sulla vendita dell’hardware senza alcun ritorno e la mancanza di pre-order sui titoli first-party possibilmente a causa di Game Pass”
Probabilmente la scarsità di preorder di Sea Of Thieves è dovuta proprio all’annuncio di Game Pass che sembra andare a tagliare le gambe a tutti i retailer, rendendo Microsoft responsabile diretta delle vendite del suo software. Tuttavia, in un altro tweet, gli addetti di Gameware hanno riconfermato il loro amore per Xbox e hanno annunciato che, tuttavia, continueranno a vendere giochi Xbox. Hanno solo preso una decisione di business difficile riguardo, appunto, la vendita della console. Decisione difficile che temiamo prenderanno altri rivenditori in giro per il mondo, date le intenzioni di Microsoft.
